SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming primary school in the London borough of Newham. They are looking for a teaching assistant to work in the early years/reception.

As a Teaching Assistant working within early years/reception, you will work closely with class teachers and the school's SEND team to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs. You will help children access learning, build confidence, develop social skills and celebrate their individual successes every day.

Details:

  • The role be working on a 1:1 basis with a small group of students with additional needs.
  • The role starts in September 2026 and will be full-time for the whole academic year.

About you:

  • Must be patient, empathetic, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must have previous experience working within the early years (nursery/reception)
  • Must have previous experience working with SEN/Autism
  • Ideally hold a minimum CACHE Level 3 early years qualification ie be a qualified nursery nurse/early years professional
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
  • Be proactive, flexible and willing to adapt to the individual needs of each child.
