Teaching Assistant

You will be supporting pupils with Autism, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties within a nurturing SEN environment. This role involves adapting to individual learning needs, delivering both 1:1 and small group interventions, and promoting a safe, positive, and encouraging learning atmosphere. You will help implement Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) targets and build positive relationships with pupils to foster their academic and personal development.

• Support pupils within the classroom as an SEN Teaching Assistant
• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
• Work alongside teachers to implement EHCP targets
• Encourage communication, confidence, and independence in students
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

• Minimum 6 months' experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
• Background supporting pupils with Autism and additional learning needs
• Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service (paper copy required) or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months
• Confident adapting to individual learning needs and building positive relationships
• Relevant Qualification

The school is located in Aston and offers a daily rate between £95.00 and £109.25. The role is a long-term contract starting on 07 September 2026, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference and join a supportive SEN team.
