Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Tameside and surrounding areas, including Denton, Hyde, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge, Dukinfield and Glossop.
We have a variety of exciting opportunities available for September and October starts, including short-term, long-term and permanent positions.
The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across the classroom, working on a one-to-one basis or providing targeted support to small groups. Depending on your experience, there are opportunities to work across mainstream, SEN and specialist settings.
We are looking for candidates who:- Have experience working with children or young people, either within education or another relevant setting.
- Are passionate about supporting pupils with their learning, confidence and development.
- Can build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.
- Are patient, approachable and adaptable in their approach.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Have an interest in supporting pupils with SEN, additional needs or behavioural needs.
- Graduates and candidates looking to begin a career in education are also encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
