Job Title: Year 6 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £92.63 to £130 per day

The school is looking to appoint a Year 6 Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from September, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position. The successful Year 6 Teaching Assistant will support Year 6 pupils through targeted intervention groups and small group work, helping to build confidence and raise attainment in preparation for SATs while working closely with the class teacher.

The successful Year 6 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school
• Experience supporting Year 6 pupils with SATs preparation and intervention sessions
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach
