TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Sunderland that is looking to appoint a Qualified Teaching Assistant. The school has a supportive and inclusive ethos, providing a positive environment where pupils and staff are encouraged to thrive and achieve their very best.

The school is looking to appoint a Qualified Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis to support pupils across all Primary Key Stages. The successful Qualified Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities, provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The successful Qualified Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting children within a UK Primary School setting
• Experience working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Strong communication and classroom support skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
