Are you a sports coach, PE graduate, youth worker, or someone who enjoys supporting and motivating young people?

TeacherActive is looking for Sports-Minded Teaching Assistants to join schools across Pembrokeshire, helping pupils build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy their learning.

Your coaching experience could make a real difference in the classroom. Whether you’ve coached football, rugby, cricket, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, or supported young people through youth work, the skills you’ve developed — teamwork, communication, leadership and encouragement — are highly valued in education.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll:

• Support pupils with learning and classroom activities.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork and positive behaviour.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Be a positive role model for young people.

We’d love to hear from people who have:

• Experience coaching, mentoring or working with children and young people.
• A positive, enthusiastic and reliable attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

• £85.50 per day (PAYE).
