The school promotes independence, celebrates individual achievements and places the wellbeing of every child at the heart of everything they do.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities, encourage positive behaviour and provide tailored support throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• A caring, patient and positive approach to supporting pupils
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Able to handle dysregulation and challenging behaviours.
