Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85.50 – £90 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Swansea that supports pupils across KS3 and KS4. The school provides a supportive environment where pupils with additional learning needs can access the guidance and education they need to thrive.

The school is looking for a patient, adaptable and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary, full-time basis.

You will provide 1:1 and classroom-based support, working closely with teaching staff to help pupils engage with their learning, develop confidence and access the curriculum effectively.

• Experience working with children or young people — ALN experience is desirable
• Experience providing 1:1 or classroom-based support
• A patient, understanding and supportive approach
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and adaptable attitude
• A genuine commitment to supporting pupils' learning and development
