Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Medway and the surrounding areas. This is an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy working with children and want the flexibility of choosing when they work, without the commitment of a permanent role.

Many of our partner schools require regular Teaching Assistant support, meaning we can offer consistent opportunities for candidates looking for ongoing classroom work while allowing you to work around your own availability. Whether you are looking for a few days a week, additional experience, or regular supply work, we can help find a role that suits you.

You will support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing while working alongside teachers and school staff in a variety of welcoming primary school settings.

• Flexible Teaching Assistant supply work across Maidstone and surrounding areas

• Regular opportunities available with local primary schools

• Choose the days you are available to work

• Suitable for those seeking part-time, ongoing or flexible classroom experience

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS required (or willingness to apply)

• Driving licence desirable but not essential

The ideal candidate will have:

• A caring and positive approach when working with children

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Confidence supporting pupils in a classroom environment

• Adaptability and the ability to build relationships quickly

• A reliable and proactive attitude

• A genuine interest in children’s learning and development

Graduates are encouraged to apply, particularly those who have studied Psychology, Childcare, Education, Health & Social Care, or related subjects, and are looking to gain valuable experience within a primary school setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
