This rewarding opportunity involves supporting children and young people aged 5-19 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students both academically and socially, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive.

• Support students in achieving outcomes that are in line with, or as close as possible to, those of their mainstream peers.
• Create a positive, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
• Deliver high-quality support tailored to the individual needs of students with autism.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students and encourage their personal development.
• Remain proactive, adaptable, and resilient when managing challenging situations.
• Work closely with teaching staff and specialists to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
• Be prepared for an active role, supporting students throughout the school day.
