Teaching Personnel
Location: Newbury, Welford, West Berkshire
Salary: £95–£110 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm, term time only
As a Classroom Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small-group basis.

Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.

Supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEND.

Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

Helping pupils with literacy, numeracy and other curriculum activities.

Monitoring pupils' progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

Supporting pupils' social and emotional development where required.

Following school safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures.

Previous experience in a school, childcare, youth work, SEND or support setting would be advantageous, although enthusiasm, the right attitude and transferable experience will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
