Teaching Personnel are hiring enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools in and around the Cardiff Area!

Location: Cardiff and the surrounding areas

Are you seeking a Teaching Assistant role in a welcoming, supportive school environment? Do you want to make a real difference every day in children’s lives?

The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher with general classroom duties, working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support pupil engagement. You will work across a range of age groups from Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2 in various primary schools across the Cardiff area. The role requires adaptability and reliability and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a positive impact on children’s learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about helping children succeed.

  • Builds positive and professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

  • Is confident supporting children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

  • Has an understanding of or experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

  • Is adaptable, reliable, and keen to learn.

Experience working with children or as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not always needed to be successful!

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) or willingness to obtain one.

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in Wales.

  • Commitment to completing safeguarding and compliance checks.
