The Supply Registeris proud to be working in partnership with a number of Secondary schools and trusts across the Liverpool area, to recruit Teaching Assistants on a supply basis.
This could include day to day cover, shorter term, longer term and even potential permanent opportunties.
This is an excellent opportunity for flexible work within supportive multi-academy trusts, helping pupils achieve their full potential.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils, helping them engage confidently with their learning.
- Work closely with teachers to support lesson delivery, classroom activities, and effective behaviour management.
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels supported and valued.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a school, education, or similar setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, or SEMH, is desirable but not essential.
- Newly qualified, trainee, or aspiring Teaching Assistants are warmly encouraged to apply.
- A positive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with a range of needs and abilities.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above preferred
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through The Supply Register)
