Full-Time Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire

Immediate Start | Full-Time | Year 4 1:1 Support + Year 2 Classroom TA | £95-£110 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for an immediate start.

This is a varied full-time role, offering the opportunity to support pupils across two different year groups:

• Mornings: Work 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil who requires additional learning support, helping them access lessons, stay engaged and develop confidence.
• Afternoons: Join a Year 2 classroom as a general Teaching Assistant, supporting the teacher and wider class with learning activities and day-to-day classroom needs.

The school is looking for someone caring, patient and proactive who can build positive relationships with children and provide consistent support throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with primary-aged children
• Be confident providing 1:1 support and adapting their approach to individual needs
• Have a patient, nurturing and encouraging manner
• Be able to support learning both independently and as part of a classroom team
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Work closely with teachers to support pupil progress and engagement
• Be flexible and willing to work across Year 4 and Year 2
• Have relevant TA/LSA experience or equivalent school-based experience
