Veritas Education is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis in a range of secondary schools across Blackburn.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting students both academically and personally, helping them to achieve their full potential within the classroom and beyond.
The Role:
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons
- Providing one-to-one and small group interventions
- Assisting students with additional learning and behavioural needs
- Encouraging positive engagement, confidence, and progress
- Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Experience working with young people, preferably within an educational setting
- A positive, proactive, and patient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
- A passion for helping young people succeed
- A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
