The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you may be required to:

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or within small groups.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide classroom support across a variety of educational settings.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN, SEMH and behavioural needs where required.
  • Help create a positive, nurturing and safe learning environment.
  • Promote pupil engagement, confidence, wellbeing and independence.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children or young people.
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, adaptable and proactive attitude.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Salary

Salary will be dependent upon proven experience, qualifications, and the expectations and requirements of the role.
