Salary: up to £35,000 per annum (DOE) + Excellent added benefits
Hours: Full time

Career Makers are recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join a well-established specialist provider supporting autistic young people with complex needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring leader to manage and develop a dedicated care team, ensuring high standards of care and support are delivered. You’ll play a key role in promoting the wellbeing, development and independence of the young people supported.

Responsibilities as a Team Manager:

  • Line manage, coach and mentor a team of Autism Practitioners
  • Support the recruitment and induction of new team members
  • Manage staff attendance, sickness and other absences
  • Monitor staff performance through regular check-ins and reviews
  • Support the implementation of autism-friendly strategies
  • Provide personal care in line with individual support plans
     

Requirements as a Team Manager:

  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Support Worker
  • Experience working with autism and/or learning disabilities
