Team Leader – Children’s Residential Care

Location: Southend, Essex
Salary: Up to £16.15 per hour / £33,584 per annum

JP Healthcare Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a children’s residential service in Southend.

You will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, lead shifts, supervise staff and help ensure high standards of care and safeguarding.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ residential childcare experience
• Knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Strong safeguarding knowledge
• Ability to lead shifts and support staff

Senior-level experience within residential childcare is desirable.

The rota includes days, evenings, waking nights and sleep-ins.
