Warehouse Team Leader

Coventry

£14.00 - £14.50 per hour starting

2:00pm – 10:00pm

Temp to Perm Opportunity

IRS Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader on behalf of a growing logistics and distribution operation based in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous warehouse supervisory or team leader experience who is looking to join a fast-paced operation with genuine long-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation
• Leading and motivating a team to achieve productivity targets
• Monitoring attendance, performance and workflow
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assisting with training and supporting new starters
• Working closely with management to maintain operational efficiency
• Supporting picking, packing, loading and warehouse activities where required
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation

Requirements:

• Previous Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Operative experience
• Experience working within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Flexible approach and willingness to support the wider operation

Hours:

Monday to Friday

2:00pm – 10:00pm

Pay Rate:

£14.00 per hour (after successful completion of 12 weeks this will in increase)

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
