TEAM LEADER

Team Leader Day & Twilight Shifts

Location: Norton, Worcester, WR5 2DF
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Type: Full-time, ongoing
Transport: Own transport is required due to the location of the site.

We are currently recruiting for 2 Team Leaders to join a busy Materials Reclamation Facility (MRF)

Shift Options

Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:30, Monday to Friday
Twilight Shift: 14:30 – 23:00, Monday to Thursday, and 14:30 – 22:00 on Friday

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will support the Supervisor/Manager with the safe and efficient running of the site and help lead the operational team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting the team
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Monitoring team performance and standards
• Supporting staff training and development
• Operating plant and machinery where appropriately trained
• Reporting accidents, hazards and unsafe practices
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Completing operational records and schedules

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous Team Leader or supervisory experience, ideally within manufacturing, recycling or a similar environment
• Has a strong understanding of Health & Safety
• Is reliable, organised and confident leading a team
• Has good communication skills
• Can work well under pressure
• Is safety-focused and team-oriented
• Has basic Microsoft Office skills

Previous experience in a recycling or MRF environment is desirable but not essential.
