Technical Analyst – Food Production

Location: Willenhamm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0730-1600
Salary: £29,500 PA

We are recruiting for a Technical Analyst to join a leading manufacturer within the food coating industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for food quality and safety. Working as part of the Technical team, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, food safety standards and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products.
• Perform laboratory testing and product analysis in line with company procedures.
• Record, monitor and report test results accurately.
• Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis where required.
• Ensure products comply with customer specifications and food safety standards.
• Assist with product trials and validation activities.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure testing areas are kept clean and organised.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing technical documentation and records.
• Work closely with Production, Technical and Quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and HACCP procedures.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing, laboratory or quality assurance environment.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
