Technical Delivery and Engineering Manager

Commercial AV | North West (Office & Site Based with UK Travel)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension
Gold Group Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading UK commercial AV integration business for an experienced Technical Delivery & Engineering Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on technical leader to shape engineering standards, develop high-performing teams, and drive technical excellence across a growing projects division. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality commercial AV installations while mentoring engineers and improving processes across the business.

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll split your time between the office and customer sites, supporting projects from initial survey through to commissioning and handover.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the technical delivery of commercial AV projects
• Managing, mentoring and developing employed engineers and subcontractors
• Providing technical support, commissioning and fault finding on complex installations
• Conducting site surveys and producing technical documentation
• Supporting project teams with technical solutions and quotations
• Driving installation standards, quality assurance and continuous improvement
• Building a positive, accountable engineering culture focused on excellence

We're looking for someone who has progressed from a technical, hands-on AV background into a leadership role and enjoys developing both people and processes.
You'll have experience with:

• Commercial AV installations (minimum 7 years experience)
• Professional displays, LED, audio and video conferencing systems
• AV distribution, control systems and rack builds
• Site surveys, commissioning and fault finding
• Technical drawings and installation documentation
• Leading engineers or installation teams

CTS, CTS-I or similar AV qualifications are desirable but not essential. A full UK driving licence is required.
