Technical Sales & Implementation Specialist

• Salary: £50,000–£60,000 
• Location: Remote with occasional travel to London
• Contract: Permanent | Full Time
• Reporting to: COO & Sales Director

The Role

• Combining technical sales, implementation and account management, working with employers, payroll bureaus, accountants and financial advisers to deliver workplace pension and payroll technology solutions.
• Delivering product demonstrations, understanding client payroll requirements, supporting proposals and managing the full client journey from sale through to implementation and go-live.
• Leading onboarding projects, configuring workplace pension schemes and salary exchange, supporting migrations and working closely with pension providers and internal teams.
• Building long-term relationships with partners, delivering training, supporting referrals and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Acting as a trusted technical advisor, providing onboarding support, client training and helping customers maximise the value of the platform while driving process improvements and automation initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience within the payroll software industry, ideally in an implementation, solutions consulting, pre-sales or client-facing technical role.
• Alternatively, experience selling payroll software or payroll technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of payroll, auto-enrolment and salary exchange, with the confidence to present to Payroll Managers, Payroll Directors and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling business, with a proactive approach and an interest in technology, AI and continuous improvement.
