Technical Project Administrator in Plympton

Location and Working Pattern
- Langage Power Station, near Plymouth
- Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- On-site role – no hybrid working available
Our client operates a major power generation and storage portfolio across the UK and Europe, supplying reliable, flexible energy to support the transition towards a more sustainable grid. With over 14 GW of installed or in-construction capacity, they are one of Europe’s largest gas-to-power producers, committed to safe operations and long-term energy resilience.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the project team, including arranging meetings, travel and accommodation, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Manage documentation using electronic systems, ensuring accurate control, updates, and archiving.
- Use the SAP system for purchase orders, service entry sheets and goods receipting, and assist colleagues in its use.
- Administer incoming and outgoing correspondence, shared mailboxes and filing systems.
- Support senior project staff with document reviews and version control.
- Monitor office supplies, coordinate purchases, and maintain records.
- Assist with basic budget tracking and financial tasks.
- Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards in all administrative activities.
- Proven experience in project administration or project support.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Proficient SAP knowledge (purchasing, service entry and goods receipting).
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- GCSEs at grade C / level 4 or above in Maths and English.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience in construction, energy or similar project-based industries.
- Secretarial or administrative qualification (e.g. RSA I).
- Experience coordinating across large project teams.
