Technical Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and technically minded Project Manager to join a growing business.
This is a varied role, combining office-based project management with regular customer-site visits. You’ll coordinate engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and clients, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from handover through to completion.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Visit customer sites to oversee installations and project progress.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout each project.
- Review project specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
- Monitor costs, timescales, quality and project risks.
- Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure equipment and materials are available when required.
- Ensure projects meet company, health and safety and industry standards.
- Lead progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Maintain accurate project records and handover documentation.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in project management, project coordination or a technical role.
- Good understanding of technical systems, ideally within engineering, electrical, electronic or IT settings.
- Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Comfortable managing budgets, schedules, resources and project documentation.
- Able to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of projects.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.

This is a hybrid role, combining time in the office working closely with the Technical Director and wider project team, alongside regular visits to customer sites. A full UK driving licence is required, with flexibility to travel to customer locations as needed.
