As demand for their solutions are increasing, they require a ‘Technical Sales Manager (Capital Equipment) to work within their fast-paced team.
Technical Sales Manager Package, Hours and Benefits
- £55,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience
- A sales incentive bonus scheme for “above target sales”

Technical Sales Manager Role Overview
- This is an engineering-led solution sales and capital equipment Technical Sales Manager role, often involving full system design and integration.
- You will be responsible for developing opportunities, designing engineered solutions, and managing projects from initial enquiry through to order.
- Working directly with customers on-site, understanding their processes, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions that deliver measurable performance improvements.
Essential Experience, Skills & Attributes
- A strong blend of technical knowledge and commercial sales experience.
- Proven track record in technical sales, capital equipment, or engineered solutions.
- A solid engineering foundation (mechanical, process engineering, or a related discipline)
- Experience working with industrial air systems, pneumatic conveying, dust extraction, or similar technologies.
- The ability to understand system design principles and performance requirements, including airflow, pressure, and ductwork considerations.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with customers, engineers, and stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to manage opportunities, priorities, and an individual sales pipeline.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Technical Sales Manager Key Responsibilities – but not limited to
- Managing the complete sales process from initial opportunity through to project handover.
- Developing and maintaining a strong personal sales pipeline.
- Visiting customer sites to assess requirements and identify technical solutions.
- Creating initial system concepts, including airflow considerations, ductwork requirements, and layouts.
- Producing detailed technical proposals and commercial quotations.
- Leading pricing discussions, margin management, and contract negotiations.
- Working closely with engineering, design, and project delivery teams.
- Developing trusted, long-term relationships with customers across multiple industries.
- Supporting projects from enquiry and specification through to successful order completion and handover.
