Alice Rose Recruitment is working with a well-established Building Services provider to recruit a Technical Services Manager for a prestigious mixed commercial and residential portfolio in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager, Engineering Manager or Technical Supervisor looking to progress into a Technical Services Manager position with genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the technical delivery of the contract, managing a team of 1 Supervisor and 3 Engineers while ensuring compliance, client satisfaction and high engineering standards across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the on-site engineering team
• Manage specialist subcontractors
• Ensure PPM and reactive maintenance is delivered
• Maintain statutory compliance and health & safety
• Review RAMS and Permit to Work documentation
• Build strong client relationships
• Support engineers with technical issues
• Monitor KPIs and service delivery
• Produce reports and attend client meetings

Requirements

• Experience managing engineering teams within commercial building services
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services
• Experience working within commercial properties
• Good understanding of compliance and statutory maintenance
• Experience managing subcontractors
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications preferred
