Northamptonshire | £80,000 - £100,000 + Benefits or £450/day


A well-established construction and fit-out contractor is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to join a major high-specification project in Northamptonshire.


This is an opportunity to join a flagship development with approximately 15 months remaining on the programme, taking responsibility for the coordination and delivery of key building services and technical packages through to completion.


The client is open to considering both permanent and freelance candidates.


The Role

Reporting into the project leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing technical services delivery across key project packages.
  • Coordinating MEP subcontractors, consultants and design teams.
  • Driving programme, quality and commissioning activities.
  • Managing technical interfaces between construction, fit-out and services elements.
  • Monitoring progress and resolving technical issues on site.
  • Supporting successful project delivery through all remaining stages of the programme.
  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements.


About You

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Experience as a Technical Services Manager, Building Services Manager or M&E Manager.
  • A strong background delivering projects for main contractors or specialist fit-out contractors.
  • Experience managing MEP packages on complex construction projects.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to drive programme and technical performance on site.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.


Experience within hospitality, commercial fit-out, residential or other high-specification developments would be advantageous.
