About the opportunity:
We are looking for a Technology Transfer Specialist to join a growing organisation within the diagnostics sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of transferring products and processes from development into manufacturing. You will play a key role in ensuring new and existing products are successfully introduced into production, working closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations teams to deliver efficient, scalable and compliant manufacturing processes.
As the link between development and manufacturing, you will coordinate technology transfer activities, manage technical documentation, support validation programmes and help ensure products can be consistently manufactured to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support technology transfer activities for new and existing products.
- Coordinate the transfer of manufacturing processes from development into production.
- Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure successful implementation of new products and processes.
- Support process validation activities and manufacturing readiness programmes.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, protocols and transfer reports.
- Analyse process performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate technical challenges during transfer projects and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure activities are completed in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Who we are looking for:
- Degree qualified in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience in technology transfer, manufacturing science, process development or a similar role.
- Experience within a regulated environment, ideally diagnostics, medical devices, biotechnology or life sciences.
- Understanding of transferring products or processes into manufacturing.
- Knowledge of validation activities and quality systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
