Tekla Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman/woman to join our clients design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models on the latest Tekla design software. Models will be created from a variety of starting points such as fully detailed engineers drawings, architectural drawings, site surveys and or from scratch for design proposals.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models to align with design intentions from the client
• Connection details for internal or external sign of
• Transfer site survey information into the 3D model
• Liaise with clients and third party engineers on design queries
• Ordering of materials from suppliers
• Create general arrangement drawings for client approval
• Produce production and site installation packages inline with our standard templates
• Work with senior draughtsman on model approvals during internal checks
• Liaise with production manager on fabrication queries
• Liaise with installation site supervisors on installation queries

Skills

• Experience in 3D modelling and detailing using Tekla software
• Ability to interpret architectural or engineering drawings into detailed models.
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills to collaborate with different departments
• Knowledge in the creation of fabrication drawings
• Work as part of a team as well as the ability and confidence to work solo
