Stafforce Ports are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Hull-based company that supplies a wide range of salt products across the UK. Serving industries including de-icing, food production, water softening, aquaculture, and cosmetics, our client is looking for an experienced Telehandler & Forklift Driver to join their busy operations team.
The Role
As a Telehandler & Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products around the site, supporting warehouse and yard operations to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating telehandlers and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving products and materials throughout the warehouse and yard
- Assisting with stock control and stock movements
- Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting defects
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Supporting general site operations as required
What We're Looking For
- Valid Telehandler licence/certification
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence/certification
- Previous experience operating telehandlers and forklifts
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible approach to work
- Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment is advantageous
