About the Role and what you will be doing:

Are you highly organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment We are seeking a dedicated Telehandler / Warehouse Operative to join our team on an active HV substation project. You will provide critical logistics support, safely operate heavy machinery, and keep our site warehouse running like clockwork.

Working as a vital member of support team, your day-to-day will include:

• Accepting all incoming deliveries and checking them thoroughly against order sheets for damage or missing items.
• Monitoring inventory levels closely to track availability and organize the warehouse safely for easy material access.
• Logging all goods-in and goods-out accurately using our digital stock control system.
• Procuring small, day-to-day materials directly from local suppliers to keep the site moving efficiently.
• Assisting electromechanical operatives directly with hands-on construction works and project installation tasks.
• Maintaining all tools, plant, and PPE in full working order while keeping the welfare facilities safe, clean, and tidy.

Candidate Requirements:

• You must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telescopic Handler licence with suspended loads.
• Previous experience in a similar telehandler or site warehouse role is preferred alongside valid certifications in PASMA Level U Cat T, Manual Handling, and First Aid.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing when reporting safety risks, plant defects, or delivery updates to site management.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently under pressure to meet tight delivery schedules and construction deadlines without compromising on RAMS or health and safety policies.
• Well-developed skills in organising and planning warehouse inventory, with a proactive attitude for space efficiency and site safety improvements.
• Computer literate with experience using MS Office and digital stock control systems to log material deliveries with accuracy.
• A strong keenness to continue to improve on your technical knowledge, understand your own competence limits, and actively engage in safety audits.
• Adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct, attend all on-site toolbox talks, and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
