Telehandler Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Driver to join a busy construction site in Griston for a one-week assignment, starting Monday 21st September.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a telehandler on site, assisting with the movement and positioning of materials and supporting the wider site team as required.

Location: Griston, Norfolk
Start Date: Monday 21st September 2026
Duration: 1 week
Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour – UTR/CIS
Working Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Paid Hours: 9.5 hours per day

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate the telehandler in accordance with site and manufacturer requirements.
• Moving, loading and positioning materials around the site.
• Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any defects.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with site management and other trades to ensure materials are moved safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid Safety Critical Medical.
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Right to Work in the UK.
