Mint Selection are currently recruiting for a General Operative / Telehandler Operator to support the delivery of a major Energy Storage project based in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest energy infrastructure projects, working alongside a leading principal contractor delivering critical energy transition projects. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for supporting site operations while operating the telehandler as required.

Responsibilities

• Operating the telehandler to safely move materials, plant and equipment around site

• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries

• Supporting site logistics and material distribution

• Carrying out general labouring duties to support the construction team

• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the site

• Assisting with traffic management and site set-up where required

• Supporting subcontractors and site management with day-to-day activities

• Carrying out manual handling duties safely and efficiently

• Following all site health & safety procedures and reporting any hazards

• Working as part of the wider construction team to ensure works are completed on programme

Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Operative on construction, infrastructure or renewable energy projects

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Ticket (Essential)

• Valid CSCS Card (Essential)

• Previous experience operating a telehandler on live construction sites

• Good understanding of site health & safety procedures

• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence desirable

• Must be able to provide two strong, recent work references
