Hexagon Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Telehandler Operative to join a busy and well-established site in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a growing company following a successful temporary period.

Pay & Hours

• £14.64 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Rotating weekly shifts:
• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Overtime available at weekends
• Additional weekday overtime may also be available

Duties Include

• Loading and unloading curtain-sided vehicles and containers
• Safe movement and storage of materials around site
• Stock rotation and stock control
• Carrying out daily equipment checks
• General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience operating a Telehandler in an industrial or warehouse environment
• A valid FLT licence and experience operating other plant machinery such as:
• Loading Shovel
• 360 Excavator
• Other plant equipment
• Alternatively, candidates with recognised plant machinery licences will also be considered if they do not currently hold an FLT licence
• A good understanding of health and safety procedures
• The flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
• A reliable and positive attitude with a willingness to work overtime when required
