Telehandler Operator

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Telehandler Operator to join a Waste Management Company on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently in accordance with site rules and health and safety regulations.
• Load, unload and transport materials around site.
• Carry out daily pre-use inspections and basic maintenance checks on the vehicle.
• Ensure materials are stored and moved safely to the correct locations.
• Assist with general site duties where required.
• Report any defects, faults or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.

Essential Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification.
• Previous experience operating a telehandler in an industrial, construction or waste management environment.
