Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join a project based in Gillingham. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating forklift machinery safely and efficiently on site
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required
- Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
- Adhering to all site health and safety procedures
- Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting any defects
- Supporting general site duties when required
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification (relevant tickets required, e.g. CPCS or NPORS)
- Proven experience operating forklifts on construction or industrial sites
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a proactive work ethic
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
