Telehandler Operator – Long-Term MOD Site

Duration: Long-term / ongoing
Rate: Competitive, depending on experience and tickets

We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a long-term project on an MOD site.

This is a safety-critical position, so applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety and site procedures. Previous experience working on MOD, military, construction or other highly regulated sites would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a telehandler in accordance with site and manufacturer requirements.
• Load, unload and move materials around the site.
• Carry out daily pre-use inspections and report defects immediately.
• Follow all site traffic management, lifting and exclusion-zone procedures.
• Work closely with the site team to ensure materials are moved safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Comply fully with MOD site security, safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification.
• Relevant experience operating telehandlers on busy construction or industrial sites.
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a professional site team.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Willingness to undergo any required MOD security clearance/vetting and site induction.
• Safety-critical medical assessment/fitness certification as required for the role.
