Telehandler Operator - North Glasgow

Search Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a large construction project in the north of Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on an established project with an anticipated duration of 18 months.

You will be operating the second telehandler on site, supporting the existing operator with material movements and general site logistics. As the machine may not be required at all times, we are looking for someone who is flexible and happy to assist with general site duties when not operating.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operating a telehandler on a busy construction site.
- Loading, unloading and distributing materials around site.
- Working alongside the existing telehandler operator to ensure efficient site operations.
- Carrying out daily machine checks and ensuring safe operation.
- Assisting with general site duties when the machine is not in use.
- Working closely with site management and other trades.
- Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket - essential.
- Valid Safety Critical Medical - essential.
- Basic Level 1 Disclosure - essential.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- Willingness to assist with general site duties when required.
- Good understanding of site health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
