Job Description – Telesales Agent

We are seeking a confident and target-driven Telesales Agent to join Cando Personnel Ltd in Gravesend. The successful candidate will make outbound calls to prospective business clients, generate new leads and arrange appointments for the recruitment team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and telephone skills, with a professional manner and a positive, persistent approach. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their sales skills and contribute to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective business clients and introduce Cando Personnel Ltd's recruitment services.
• Identify businesses with current or future staffing and labour requirements.
• Develop new business opportunities across sectors including fresh produce, agriculture, industrial, warehouse, logistics, and office-based roles.
• Qualify potential clients and understand their recruitment and labour requirements.
• Arrange meetings and appointments for the management/recruitment team.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, conversations, and follow-ups.
• Follow up with prospective clients regularly to develop opportunities.
• Build and maintain positive professional relationships with clients.
• Work towards agreed sales, call, lead-generation, and appointment targets.
• Keep up to date with company services and recruitment solutions.
• Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure client requirements are communicated effectively.
• Provide regular updates to management on sales activity and potential opportunities.
