We’re working with an established and successful business in Rushden that is looking to appoint a proactive Telesales & Marketing Executive to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to customers, generating sales opportunities and getting involved in marketing activity, with genuine scope to progress within the business.
The Role
You’ll play an important role in maintaining customer engagement, generating new opportunities and supporting the wider sales and marketing function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Contacting customers following targeted mailshots, advertising campaigns and other marketing activity.
- Making proactive outbound calls and handling general customer enquiries.
- Following up with existing customers and providing an excellent aftersales experience.
- Creating and coordinating marketing activity, including social media content, magazine advertising and mailshots.
- Arranging customer appointments and showroom visits.
- Supporting the sales team with administration and customer follow-up.
- Keeping customer information and records accurate and up to date.
- Supporting the wider business with general sales and marketing activity as required.
We’re looking for someone who is driven, confident and commercially minded, with the personality to build strong relationships over the phone and through other channels.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in telesales, sales, customer service or marketing.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience or an interest in social media and marketing.
- A self-motivated and results-driven approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Flexibility and a willingness to get involved across different areas of the business.
- A positive attitude and genuine desire to develop and succeed.
- A clean driving licence would be advantageous.
This is more than simply a telesales position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their commercial skills and progress within the business, with the potential to move into a field-based sales role for someone who wants to take their career in that direction.
