Construction Administrator
Location: Baynards Green, near Bicester (OX27)
Contract: 6 Months (Potential Extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full Time

We're looking for an experienced Construction Administrator to join a busy site team working on a major M40 Bridge Repairs Project.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-term infrastructure project, supporting the site management team with day-to-day administration and project coordination. The role will initially be full-time on site, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working arrangement (3-4 days on site) once the project is fully established.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing site administration and project documentation.

  • Raising purchase orders and processing orders for materials and services.

  • Maintaining accurate records for the accounts team.

  • Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and project trackers.

  • Preparing and maintaining Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

  • Filing and controlling site documentation.

  • Supporting the wider project team with general administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience within the construction or civil engineering industry is essential.

  • Experience placing purchase orders and maintaining financial records.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.

  • Experience preparing and maintaining ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Confident communicator who can work effectively with site teams, suppliers and office staff.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
