Office Angels are delighted to be recruiting for a Quality & Laboratory Technician on behalf of our client based in Coatbridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality or laboratory professional to join a busy production environment, supporting quality, compliance, and laboratory operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards whilst supporting laboratory testing, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out quality checks including testing, measurements, packaging assessments, and product inspections
• Performing laboratory testing and recording results accurately
• Raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and supporting investigations
• Assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Preparing samples for testing and analysis
• Calibrating laboratory equipment and maintaining accurate records
• Conducting stock checks and internal audits
• Supporting HACCP activities and continuous improvement projects
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with quality, safety, and compliance standards

About You

We're looking for candidates with previous experience working within a laboratory, quality control, manufacturing, production, food and drink, or similar regulated environment.

Ideally, you'll have experience using:

• Anton Paar Alcolyzers
• DMA equipment
• pH meters
• Torque meters
• Weights & Measures equipment

You'll also possess:
