Warehouse Assistant (Temp)
Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Job Type: Temporary - 3 weeks initially

Join our client as a Temporary Warehouse Assistant and play an important part in keeping the warehouse operations organised, accurate and running safely. Based at the Wallingford office, you'll support a focused warehouse project, helping accurately log, audit and maintain records and ensuring inventory information is kept up to date.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Accurately log and audit samples held within the warehouse, helping ensure records are complete and up to date.
• Maintain accurate records once samples have been processed and complete appropriate remedial actions where required.
• Support the team in maintaining an accurate and well-managed warehouse inventory.
• Carry out general warehouse duties safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clear and accurate information using relevant systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

What you'll need to thrive in this role:

• Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records while working to deadlines.
• Confidence using computers, with familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with warehouse inventory management systems would also be useful.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A proactive and dependable approach, with a willingness to learn and take responsibility for completing tasks safely and to a high standard
