Leading UK & European main contractor delivering complex, high-value construction projects across the Data & Technology sector.
They are seeking a MOTIVATED Temporary Works Coordinator to manage the planning, coordination, implementation, and control of temporary works in accordance with industry best practice and company procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of technically challenging projects across the International Market.
Based on site you will report into the Project Director with a dotted line into the Group Head of Temporary Works. For the right person there is a growth opportunity here in 12-18 months to step up into the TW Manager role for Europe.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate all temporary works activities throughout project lifecycles across Europe
- Ensure compliance with the principles of BS 5975 and the company's Temporary Works Procedure
- Review temporary works requirements during project planning and construction stages
- Coordinate the appointment of Temporary Works Designers and Supervisors
- Roll out training & development plans to upskill the workforce
- Maintain the Temporary Works Register and documentation
- Ensure all temporary works designs are independently checked where required
- Review and verify design briefs before submission to designers
- Work with project teams to handle all manner of TW challenges that arise
Candidate Requirements
Experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on major construction or infrastructure projects
Happy and understand this role has HIGH Levels of travel , daily , weekly and monthly. Be honest with yourself here !
Strong knowledge of BS 5975 and temporary works management procedures.
Experience working for a principal contractor or major civil engineering contractor.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across design and construction teams.
Strong communicator , able to keep calm and convey the message up and downstream
EU or British Passport Holder
Qualifications Essential:
- Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) Certification
- HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- NEBOSH General Certificate
