Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading Social Enterprise Provider who are looking for a Peripatetic Housing Worker to help with some of their services across Congleton with both permanent and 3-month agency contracts available.
A fulfilling and exciting opportunity available for a Peripatetic Worker to join our client. The Peripatetic Worker will be based in our clients office in Congleton.
Purpose of the role
- To provide tailored person centred advice and assistance to service users to manage and sustain their tenancy in accordance with its terms and enabling them to live independently.
- To carry out property inspections to assess condition, health and safety compliance, and environmental risks, escalating concerns and supporting remedial action as required.

You will be expected to contribute to the maintenance and development of the Association’s values, culture and ethos.
Your duties will include:

Assessment, risk assessments, CRM entries, stakeholder feedback

To develop and provide structured targeted housing related support (either 1-1 or group) in line with identified support plan

To identify and act upon incidents, antisocial behaviour and safeguarding risks.

To assist service users in developing the skills required to build resilience

To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of housing activities
In order to be considered for the role you will need a strong understanding of housing and tenancy legislation, you will also be required to travel across Congleton so you will need either access to your own car or be able to demonstrate how you plan to travel accordingly. The manager is also looking for candidate who have an understanding of benefits, UC & PIP along with experience of working with people in supported accommodation.
This is a full-time, permanent position paying £27,200 per year with benefits to the role included such as pension, blue-light card and much more.
