Term-Time Preschool / Nursery Practitioner

Location: Epping, Essex, CM16
Salary: £13.00–£13.50 per hour
Hours: 29 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks) Permanent Contract
Working Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:15am – 3:15pm
• Wednesday & Friday: 8:15am – 12:15pm

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Preschool / Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming preschool near Epping.

This is a lovely opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to support children aged 2–5 years in a nurturing, play-based environment. The setting offers a supportive team, excellent outdoor space and a strong focus on children's individual development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, nurturing care to children aged 2–5.
• Support learning and development through play-based activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Support children's communication, social, emotional and physical development.
• Follow EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.

About You

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification
• Previous nursery, preschool or childcare experience
• Passionate about working with young children
• Warm, caring and reliable
• Good knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
• Strong communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
