We’re looking for an experienced Terminal Scheduler to join a dynamic team, ensuring the efficient coordination and optimisation of terminal operations. This is an on-site position, ideal for someone with strong scheduling experience and an understanding of marine and fuel operations. Overview
Our client is a major player in the energy and fuel industry, known for maintaining rigorous operational standards and driving commercial value through efficient terminal operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Daily Stock Progression Report
- Prepare and deliver the weekly terminal import/export plan, including daily re-optimisation for any deviations
- Coordinate with Terminal Maintenance, Operations teams and JV interfaces for scheduling unplanned outages
- Manage tankage and jetty scheduling with internal and external stakeholders
- Support fuel quality management and seasonal specification changes
- Oversee additive stock levels and purchase requirements
- Complete local vessel clearances and prepare daily night notes for handover to shift supervisors
- Strong scheduling experience, ideally in a terminal or similar environment
- Knowledge of shipping, hydrocarbon products, and maintenance processes
- Sound understanding of fuel quality regulations
- Experience of marine operations
- Demonstrated commercial awareness
- Ability to develop solutions to complex operational issues
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure
- Relevant degree or HNC/HND qualification
- Familiarity with business processes and JV environments
