The role:
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join the team responsible for the development and execution of test plans. In this role, you will undertake Test planning, Test estimates and Test reporting. You will work closely with Test Leads and Project managers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact within a growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake the scoping of Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing and UAT, in line with the defined Test methodology
- Provide Test estimates to Test Analyst Lead/ Project Managers for integration into the overall project plan
- Validate and verify systems, ensuring that the delivered software is stable, robust and meets relevant functional standards
- Provide Test metric reports and progress against planned activities
- Provide Test advice/ guidance to members of the business based UAT team
- Provide high quality system test cases and acceptance test documentation ensuring appropriate attention is paid to project entry/ exit criteria checkpoints.
- Construct and execute system test cases in accordance with project timelines and key milestones
- Be responsible for executing test scripts against the application deliverable, raising / managing defects using defect management/ tracking tools and where required, assisting with the root cause analysis.
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
- Knowledge of Functional testing, System testing, Integration testing & User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Experienced in writing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios
- Creating test plans and test strategies
- Executing tests and recording results
- Defect/bug reporting and tracking
- Ability to: Log defects clearly, Prioritise and track issues & work with developers to resolve defects
- Familiarity with various testing tools
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Strong problem-solving ability

- BPSS / NPPV or SC cleared
