Holt Engineering is currently recruiting for a Test & Packing Operative to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based near Poole.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment who enjoys working with precision products and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The Role Working as part of a friendly production team, your responsibilities will include:
- Testing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Packing products carefully and accurately for dispatch
- Completing basic paperwork and production records
- Carrying out visual inspections and identifying any faults
- Following work instructions and quality procedures
- Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organised
- Working closely with production and quality teams to meet customer deadlines.
- Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment, or the desire or willingness to learn
- Experience in testing, inspecting, or packing products
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity and a methodical approach
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Monday to Thursday working pattern – enjoy a long weekend every week
